I love Keppel Bay. It’s the best place to chill out, have a drink & some nice cakes with your loved ones or your besties. It wasn’t very crowded the last time i went there since not many knew about that place, but i’m not sure about now. There are many seats available, so no worries! you’ll definitely get a table.

Privé is located by the bay of Keppel Marine Club, which has a restaurant, waterfront bar, and a cafe. All three of them serve different food & drinks, so check out their website for their food menu! Besides the good food, this place is great if you just want to have a comfortable lunch/dinner with your valentine while enjoying the view and a romantic stroll along the waters.

Graze is located in an old colonial-style black and white bungalow in Rochester Park. It is homestyle dining in a contemporary space and it gives off an old-age aura of a relaxing and unhurried world. The place is so quiet that you need to whisper to each other when you talk. Graze serves australian cuisine! 🙂

The ground level features a casual & chic dining room, while the upper level has an elegant & rustic feel to it. There’s an alfresco lounge which overlooks the garden. There’s also a large outdoor screen for alfresco movies, which is puuuurrrrrrfect for couples.

4. Flutes At The Fort
Flutes at the Fort is a hidden treasure located in the heart of the city near Fort Canning, yet hidden away from the bustling city. The building is built back in 1908, in a black and white colonial bungalow served as the Old Fire Chiefs’ home. Flutes at the Fort has a natural unspoiled charm. very old skool indeed.

One thing i like about this place is its originality and that it isn’t as well known as other places such as Spruce, Rider’s Cafe and Epicurious so it’s not as hyped up.
You can actually choose between the air-conditioned indoors, the sheltered veranda, or the totally open garden deck. For me personally, i’d prefer the garden deck, for the teak wood floors and the scenery showcase the tropical nature at its best.

5. Halia at Botanical Gardens
Halia is located deep inside Botanical Gardens’, a perfect getaway for a romantic night out. I was so taken by it! Halia is located just at the edge of the Ginger Garden, beside the National Orchid Garden. The restaurant is known for its european-fused-with-asian cuisine.

Drivers can park along the road just at the entrance of the Ginger Garden. From the Ginger Garden gate, Halia is a 1-minute stroll past a man-made waterfall and lush greenery.Alternatively, drivers can also park at the Cluny Gate and Tanglin Gate entrances. From there, it is a walk of 10 to 15 minutes to Halia Restaurant.

How does ‘All-day brunch’ surrounded by lush greenery and countryside serenity sound to you? If you are a lover of awesome brunch and beautiful ambience, then mimo’s the place. Formerly ‘Mimolette’, this cafe is located next to a saddle club at Fairways drive. This is a great place for brunch and it’s away from the city, so it’ll be good if you’re looking for a relaxing date with your valentine. Of course, the location might be a problem if you don’t have a car. There’s another outlet which is in Ion Orchard.

Mimo Bar turns into a hippy night club when the night falls. This place is really popular during special occasions so please reserve a table in advance else your v’day plans will be ruined!
